Al Arba Hotel:
Students explored the hotel’s interior and hospitality design, noting elements such as lighting, layout, material usage, and theme integration. This experience offered valuable insights into guest experience and functional luxury—important considerations in interior and hospitality design.
Dubai Miracle Garden (Magical Garden)
A visual treat and a masterclass in landscape design, the garden showcased creativity with natural elements. Students analyzed color schemes, patterns, and installation design, gaining inspiration for sustainable and decorative landscaping in urban spaces.
3.BAPS Hindu Mandir (Abu Dhabi)
A cultural and spiritual highlight of the trip, the visit to the BAPS temple exposed students to intricate traditional craftsmanship, architectural symmetry, and symbolic detailing. It encouraged them to appreciate and respect religious architecture and design rooted in heritage.
4.Dubai City Tour
The city tour covered major attractions and architectural landmarks, offering a broad view of Dubai’s design evolution—from traditional souks to futuristic skyscrapers. It helped students understand urban planning, contrast in design styles, and integration of modern infrastructure with cultural identity.
5.Burj Khalifa:
A visit to the world’s tallest building gave students the chance to witness structural innovation, spatial engineering, and luxury aesthetics up close. The design of observation decks, sky lounges, and lobbies served as case studies in high-end commercial design.
DESERT SAFARI
While recreational, the safari offered cultural insight through traditional Bedouin-style tents, décor, and performances. Students noted how design and environment interact in temporary and outdoor setups—useful in event and experience design.
7.Dubai Institute of Design and Innovation (DIDI)
A key academic visit, students toured this premier design institution and interacted with faculty and students. They learned about interdisciplinary design education, current trends in fashion, product, and visual design, and how innovation is being fostered in a modern academic environment.
