Valuation of diamonds is based on the four C’s: Colour, Clarity, Cut and Carat. This diamond grading course teaches you how to grade diamonds according to these criteria. Our qualified instructors enable you to gain comprehensive knowledge about important aspects of diamond grading such as carat weight. The professionally equipped gemstone lab provides the infrastructure to measure the weight of gemstones, study the clarity of diamonds through a microscope, loupe recognising, how to grade blemishes and inclusions and learn about plotting of symbols.

2.  Theory of journey of diamond from the mines to cutter.

3.  Theory of cutting & polishing process.

4.  Study of round brilliant cut.

5.  Basics of polished diamond grading.

6.  Grading using international standards.

7.  History of cuts.

8.  4Cs grading for color, clarity, cut and carat.

9.  Identification of diamond & diamond stimulants.
