How can I apply and where can I find the application form?

Can we submit the application form without submitting the 10+2 exam mark sheet?
Yes, the application can be submitted before declaration of the results. However, candidates applying for admission will be eventually required to fulfil all the eligibility criteria for admission to the programme. Their admission will be purely provisional, subject to their satisfying the prescribed eligibility conditions. If on verification at any time before or after the Written Test , it is found that candidate does not fulfil eligibility criteria, his / her candidature for the admission shall stand cancelled without any notice or further reference.
What is the Admission process?
Admission Form – Aptitude Test – provisional Offer Letter.
After receiving the application form, it will be processed for eligibility of the candidate. Eligible candidates will be informed about the date/time of the ONLINE tests/interview.
Candidates will be required to bring requisite documents in original along with their photocopies.
What are the eligibility criteria for getting admission to various programs of VIAD?
Eligibility for Bachelor Programmes:
Candidates who have completed their 10+2 level or equivalent exams like AISSCE/ IB/ ICSE/ State Board etc. (in relevant stream) are eligible to apply for undergraduate degree programmes.
In addition to marks in the qualifying examinations, the admission will be based on performance in Aptitudes Test.
Eligibility for Masters Programmes:
Candidates who have completed 3/4-year full-time bachelors in any stream, are eligible to apply. Candidates who have appeared in the qualifying exams and the results are expected to be declared latest by 31st October can also apply. The admission will be based on performance in Aptitude Test.
When and where is the Entrance Tests conducted?
Entrance test will be conducted online.
Can the student apply for more than one program at a time?
Yes, but the student will be admitted to only one program as per the merit and preference given accordingly.
What is the pattern of Aptitude Test?
(Design Aptitude Test)– For admission to Interior Design, Fashion Design , Animation & Game Art.
How to prepare for Aptitude Tests?
The Aptitude Test aims to assess the general IQ level, logical reasoning and lateral thinking of a candidate. Questions asked will be of 10+2 level for Undergraduate program.
For PG programs, the level will be of graduation.
How will we come to know about the result?
All the selected candidates will be personally informed by the College.
Is there any possibility of Lateral Admission?
Yes, the candidates who fulfill the eligibility conditions as prescribed by the University, shall be given opportunities for professional growth and career improvement, through lateral entry into courses of second year.
Is there any possibility of migrating from other universities to VIAD?
Yes, a student can migrate from other institutes to VIAD provided he/she does not have any backlog in the previous year (s) and subject to recommendations of the equivalence committee of the Bangalore North University.
What if I don’t get admission in VIAD after entrance?
If you are rejected in any of the procedure you’ll not get admission. If your name is in waiting list you’ll get call from our side if you are confirmed.
Is it UGC Recognized and from which university it is affiliated?
Vogue Institute of Art and Design is affiliated to Bangalore north university.
Is fee submitted during admission refundable if we cancel admission?
No Fee once paid will not be refunded.
Do you offer Industry internship?
Yes there will be opportunity to work with the industry in the 3rd year as summer internship (2 months appx) and the final year as ( Industry training : 4-6 months) graduation project .
What are the facilities provided on campus in terms of services to the students?
VIAD has created excellent physical and academic infrastructure like labs, library and studios, workshops, computer labs . There are canteens, sports zone, Internet access and transport facility.
Is transportation facility available in your campus and if so, then from where?
Yes, Regular pick-up and drop is available from Campus to various location in Bangalore. Kindly enquire with Office for more details.
Does VIAD provide Hostel/ Residential facility for students?
Although VIAD is a non-residential campus , the institution has made adequate arrangements for the safe stay of its students during their study period at VIAD
There are separate hostel buildings for boys & girls and the spaces for girls have a full time lady warden. The VIAD Office staff are in constant contact with the service providers & make frequent visits to the PGs with a view to creating a safe space for students and to ensure quality and security.

What is the better option for me amongst different design streams? (Which course should I take?)
You can come for a counselling session in the campus or check with us online to enquire about the courses in detail and match to your interest. Additionally you can speak to our faculty during the campus visit and to see to your interest matching your creative side,
How many industrial visits you are having in one academic session?
There are a lot of industry interface built in the curriculum. There are 2-3 average visits depending on the subject and semester.
What are the class timings?
Class Timing are Monday- Friday : 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM
